This Privacy Policy explains how Diggen Corporation, doing business as Bituser ("Bituser," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website at bitusercloud.com and the Bituser user data infrastructure platform (together, the "Services").
01Scope & our role
Bituser operates in two distinct capacities, and this policy treats them separately.
For information about our own website visitors, prospects, and customers, Bituser acts as a controller and this policy governs. For end-user data that our business customers route through the platform, Bituser acts as a service provider / processor, processing that data on the customer's behalf and under their instructions. If your data was provided to a business that uses Bituser, that business's privacy policy governs — please contact them to exercise your rights.
02Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us, request a demo, create an account, or correspond with us, we collect details such as your name, work email, company, role, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Customer platform data
In our role as a service provider, we process user records and signals (for example, identifiers, behavioral events, and contact attributes) on behalf of, and under the instructions of, our business customers. We do not use this data for our own purposes except to provide and secure the Services.
03How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services
- To respond to inquiries, demos, and support requests
- To communicate about your account, updates, and relevant offerings
- To analyze usage and measure and improve performance
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
04Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (such as operating and securing the Services), your consent (where required, for example certain cookies and marketing), and compliance with legal obligations. Where we act as a processor, our customer is responsible for establishing a lawful basis.
06Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce subscriber agreements. For data processed on behalf of customers, retention follows the customer's instructions and the applicable subscriber agreement.
07Security
We maintain technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including a separation of control and data planes, least-privilege access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, and ongoing monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Your privacy rights
California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to request access and a copy; to request correction; to request deletion; and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — without discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
EEA / UK (GDPR)
Individuals in the EEA and UK may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request as required by law. If your data was provided to one of our customers, please direct your request to that business.
09Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent any disclosure constitutes a "sale" or "sharing" under California law, you may opt out by contacting us at the address below. Where we offer cookie-based controls, you may also manage preferences through our Cookie Policy.
10International data transfers
We are based in the United States and may process information in the U.S. and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers of personal data.
11Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
